COMMOTION IN RIVERS STATE AS IMMUNIZATION OFFICIALS ARRIVES SCHOOLS

There was great fear and panic in some secondary and primary schools in port-hacourt as parents were called to pick up their wards from school due to forceful immunization over monkey pox.It was carried that soldiers alledgely went to schools and forcefully tried to administer vaccines to students.The commissioner of education visited schools to inform parents that it was a false rumour.She said parents should be on the watch as this is an opportunity for kidnappers to perform their neferious act.According to her she said on her arrivals to schools she didnt see any immunization taking place.I met with the headmasters to confirm if the situation was true and they gave a negative response.The commissioner of information says that the government has not permitted such act.
